Cedar Hall Features

  Guests who stay in Cedar Hall will enjoy private dormitory-style rooms with charming views of the Elkins Estate grounds. This 2-story addition, constructed in the early 1970’s, has its own private reception area; however, this modestly priced wing connects to the Estate’s main building, elegant Elstowe Manor, through the Billiards Room.

Accommodations (5—84)

1st and 2nd Story: This additional wing features 42 rooms on each floor. Each room is outfitted with a sink, twin bed, closet, ceiling fan, desk, and sitting chair. Guests will share a hall shower and bathroom.

Meeting Space

Ideal for large retreats, adjacent Elstowe Manor boasts a large auditorium that can seat up to 500 guests for lectures and presentations, as well as several other spaces to be used for presentations, break-out rooms or workshops of all types and sizes. Centrally located, Cedar Hall is just steps from the front door of Chelten House.

Dining facility

  Large retreats housed in Cedar Hall will enjoy their buffet-style meals in Elstowe Manor’s spacious cafeteria. Smaller retreats may elect to take their meals at Chelten House, a short walk up a picturesque path, for a delicious and healthy vegetarian meal.
